The press lied and exaggerated daily against previous Republican presidents and candidates until the American people accepted the lies as truth. The attacks against George W. Bush were unrelenting. I noticed that a single episode of NBC Nightly News was devoted 100% to attacking Bush.   

I am worried that the same tactic has already started with Trump in his second term.  This article jumps to wild conclusions.  It takes quotes out of context to conclude that he is racist and believes in genocide.  This is in no way true.  Only a small percentage of people will believe it, but that percentage will grow with time if the lies are repeated enough.

Part of the problem is that people take opinion as fact.  People need to remain objective and question whether what they read is based on facts or is just the opinion of the author.
