Twelve and a half months ago, I heard Rush Limbaugh announce on his program that he had stage 4 lung cancer. I was noticing recently that he had taken about a 3-week break from his broadcast program, only having guest hosts. About 3 weeks ago he thought that he was doing well. At noon today, his program was started by his wife who announced his passing this morning. Then the program played clips from his past broadcasts.
I have wondered for months what would happen to the program after Rush Limbaugh passed away? I assume that the program will shut down. Ben Shapiro would be a great replacement. When Paul Harvey passed away, his son, Paul Harvey Jr., took over, but the show failed to find an audience.
